We are currently looking for permanent, full-time Finishers to join our team at our Annaheim location. Our shifts rotate bi-weekly from 6 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. - 1:00 a.m. and we accommodate shift preferences where possible.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
Reporting to the Production Coordinator, the purpose of the Finisher is to bring the final product together by assembling all of the parts to create our customers trailers safely, efficiently, and in a consistent manner.

Key accountabilities include:
Review drawings and problem solve when
drawings are not available
Install decaling
Assemble electrical components
Install decking
Install air and brake systems
Mount tires
Maintain equipment
Maintain a clean work area
Follow established procedures (safe operating procedures; quality procedures; work instructions)
Share your ideas to contribute to process improvements

WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR
Experience using hand tools
Strong mechanical aptitude
Ability to think critically and problem solve
Experience working with drawings
Ability to collaborate with a team
An understanding of hydraulics is an asset
Experience with lean methodology is an asset

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Reporting to the Manufacturing Coordinator, the purpose of the Welder is to support the manufacturing flow by providing safe, efficient and quality welding processes to ensure our customers’ trailers are on schedule for delivery.

 

Key accountabilities include:

  • Review drawings and problem solve when drawings are not available
  • Weld horizontal and vertical filets
  • Weld vertical down filets and vertical down laps
  • Torch cutting
  • Weld sub-assemblies and final assemblies
  • Maintain equipment
  • Maintain a clean work area
  • Follow established procedures (safe operating procedures; quality procedures; work instructions)
  • Share your ideas to contribute to process improvements

 

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Experience welding on a production line
  • Pre-employment or production line welding certification is an asset
  • Experience using hand tools

We are currently looking for a permanent, full-time Paint Process Improvement Specialist to join our team at any of our locations in Saskatchewan which includes Annaheim, Moose Jaw and Saskatoon.

 

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Reporting to the Senior Vice President, the purpose of the Paint Process Improvement Specialist is to be responsible to be the internal paint specialist and improve quality, efficiency and safety within the paint operations (blast, prep, and paint) at all branches. Regular travel to all branches is required.

 

Key accountabilities include:

  • Industrial Coatings Applicator Certification
  • Lean Greenbelt
  • Advanced technical knowledge of paint products, systems, equipment and processes.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
  • Computer proficiency (Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint) is required.
  • A high degree of analytical ability and inductive thinking to solve complex problems.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet timelines and manage problems.
  • Share your ideas to contribute to process improvements

 

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Remaining current on innovative processes and technologies in the paint industry;
  • Understanding and leading process improvement initiatives to increase the quality efficiency and safety of paint operations;
  • Recommending and implementing improvements, including assisting with the setup of new equipment and training staff as required;
  • Managing and maintaining an effective paint ordering system;
  • Managing paint supplies including vendor-managed items to ensure optimal inventory;
  • Troubleshooting issues related to product, processes and equipment;
  • Determining the root cause of non-conformance and developing corrective action plans;
  • Establishing paint standards and ensuring they are consistently followed across branches;
  • Regularly communicating with supervisors and employees within each branch;
  • Updating documentation on operational procedures and guidelines;
  • Being the point of contact for warranty issues specific to paint;
  • Resolving concerns, solving production problems, providing leadership and motivation to all team members consistent with achieving a common goal;
  • Ability to collaborate with a team
